Discovering Relief from the Big "M"

The month I turned 50 is when the first symptoms of perimenopause arrived. Hot

flashes, night sweats, and I've been told... mood swings disrupted my life. At night, I felt like a woman on fire, trapped in a constant cycle of heat and chill. Sleep became elusive, and I found myself irritable and exhausted. Seeking solace, I turned to my mother, only to discover that her experience was vastly different. She sailed through menopause with ease, adding, "I hardly remember it", while I was struggling to cope.

As if the physical symptoms weren't enough, my emotional state was a rollercoaster. I felt a sense of loss and frustration, as if my body was betraying me. My sex life dwindled, replaced by discomfort and a lack of desire. I sought medical advice and began hormone replacement therapy, hoping for relief. However, new challenges arose, adding another layer of uncertainty and anxiety to my already tumultuous journey.

Today, still not out of the woods and fondly longing for the full "M", I was introduced to a group of thought leaders who provided me with hope. I am eager to share them with you an opportunity to learn more about alternative choices as you traverse your own midlife journey.
